Department of Eagles

No One Does it Like You by the Department of Eagles has a song that's been on my mind for months now. The first time I heard it, I dug it completely. There's something really haunting about the song, but I love it because of that fact. I came across the video a couple of months ago and that creepy feeling returned.



This is honestly one of the most frightening, amazing, strange videos I have ever seen. Patrick Daughters and Marcel Dzama are the co-directors, and you can really see Dzama's influence come through in the wardrobe, art, and style of the video all-around.

Patrick Daughters also directed the video for Two Weeks from Grizzly Bear. This guy does some amazing work.

    I thoroughly enjoyed the Department of Eagles video. Reading Patrick Daughters' portfolio is most impressive, Feist is one of my favorite artist, outside of her he's got a long list of very well respected musicians that he has worked with.

    I know I've said to you before that the Department of Eagles reminds me of Perry Bible Fellowship. I think it is mainly in this haunting/wholesome look of the video. Not to detract from the talent of Marcel Dzama
