Ok. So, I am of the opinion that Jimmy Fallon generally sucks big time. That being said, this impression is pretty spot-on and also kind of hilarious. Or maybe I am just in a weird mood today. I mean, if that's really him singing...way to go Fallon. You finally made me laugh at something.
I can't be the only one who thinks this is funny...right?

I was trying to think of something really awesome about Jimmy Fallon, but on the whole he is kind of bland. I do think its cool he is inviting people like Tim Schafer onto Late Night; guys a big nerd and has a lot of love for video games.
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say, this is a spot on impersonation and is rather clever. He's wikipedia bio says he got his start in comedy by doing impersonations of celebrities auditioning to become the Troll Doll spokesperson.
That is awesome. I mean, seriously. If I wasn't looking really closely at this video, I would've been like, 'Why the HELL is Neil Young doing a cover of this song'? I mean, maybe he really is funny and just isn't on my radar or something. The only reason I saw this is because it was on the AVClub blog. *shrug* Jimmy Fallon, who knew?
