Borderline

This is pretty tasty. You may have seen it, but I thought I'd share just in case.

  1. I got a 7" on Record Store Day that is Borderline on one side and Black Keys doing Her Eyes Are a Blue Million Miles on the other. Blue Vinyl, very cool.

  2. Dude. That is radical. I don't remember what I was doing on record store day, but I wasn't in a record store and now I am sad.

  3. Also, have you been to the new Homer's location downtown? It basically licks balls. So, I went in a few weeks ago and was pissed because I couldn't find any of the records I wanted (new Why?, new Flaming Lips, new KK&BBQ, etc)and I happened upon a Jamie Lidell record. I freaked because I haven't been finding anything there lately worth buying and I am on a HUGE neo-soul/Jamie Lidell kick right now. So I take it up to the guy at the counter (you've probably seen him; old, beardy, black guy) and he's like 'This is a good album!' and I'm like, 'Yeah, man. I know.' He then proceeds to ask me WHO I AM BUYING IT FOR! And this is the reason that I am currently boycotting Homer's until a) that guy no longer works there or b) they get a fucking clue. Just because I am a young, white women does NOT mean I can't like soul (FYI, it also doesn't mean that I won't FUCK YOU UP if you're a condescending prick). That is all.
