Last night Congress pulled it together and got the votes needed in order to pass legislation leading to Health Care Reform. No longer will Americans need to worry about getting sick. No longer will our country be at the mercy of Insurance companies. No longer will the richest nation on earth allow a citizen to die because they can't afford the care they need.
32 Million Americans can now look forward to a healthy future.
300 Million Americans can now look forward to building a country that will be the envy of the world.
Once again progressive thought has stood up too fear mongering to win in the end. Unfortunately the fight is not over, and we must continue to implore our representatives in this country to help us move forward.

Obama brings the sass
If you haven't been able to pick this up yet, I am a political junkie. I read that today the House Republicans ask President Obama to address them at their annual retreat. The reports say that this makes the State of the Union look tame. Found the 20 minute video, I will have to watch it at a better time though.
